Loving these babies!!

It's great to be back to all these sessions with the little ones!! Something about their contagious little smiles makes me realize how silly some of the things we stress about are!! This gorgeous little guy took a bit of warming up, but once he did....the smiles were out in full force!!

Frosty Session

December seems to be a hectic time for everyone. Take some time to relax and enjoy a stress free session at a location of your choice. Whether you're dashing through the snow, walking through a winter wonderland, or helping your children build their first (or tenth) gingerbread house, I'll be there to capture your family's precious moments!
(This session focuses more on candid shots rather than posed portraits.)

Book a session for any day in December and receive a mini album which contains 15 different 5x7 prints that are some of my favorites from your session. And because everybody needs a break this time of year, I'm offering the Frosty Session for only $95, when booked before November 20th.

It's been a while!

Wow!! Summer just flew by, huh? Too much time being out and about didn't leave much time for blogging I guess! Well, I'm back to it and will be posting new photos much more often! Check back soon or subscribe to be notified of updates, contests, and specials!

Sneak Peek!

This weekend I got to spend some time with 2 gorgeous little girls!! They are twins, but they each definitely have their own personality! It was so much fun to get to hang out with them and see them enjoying a beautiful day! Bubbles, swings, a wagon ride....they got the life!!!

Fresh Faces!!

Our "Fresh Faces" session was so much fun!! These adorable kids had a great time enjoying a beautiful day!! It was a little windy near the lake, but they sure didn't mind!! I must say that this first picture is one of my favorites. It really captured the moment!! Thanks so much for being our new "Fresh Faces"!!

Beach Baby!

What a great day for baby's first trip to the beach! I had the chance to photograph this little cutie before her welcoming ceremony on the beach. Even though her morning nap was cut short, she was more than happy to hang out on the beach with her parents ! The ceremony was beautiful and you could just feel how much she is loved by her whole family! Welcome to the world baby G!

Happy Birthday Baby!

What a trooper!! It ended up being colder than we expected for this session, but you'd never even know it from this beautiful baby!! This happy little lovebug celebrated her first birthday this week! It seems like just yesterday we had her 3 month session!! Wow! How time flies!!

Sneak Peek!

I had the chance this weekend to photograph our newest Fresh Face. He is such a cutie and was on the move most of the time!! He's such a good little guy that he even stopped to give me a few poses! It was so great to finally have the chance to meet him and his family! Enjoy the sneak peek and keep an eye out for more of his photos on the website soon!

Yum, Yum, Yum!!

I recently had the opportunity to shoot a different kind of session! Who doesn't love great food and fun drinks?! Melissa's Main Street Bistro in Stoneham has both and delicious deserts too. New Blog...New Contest!!

To celebrate the new blog, Loriann Horgan Photography is having a "Fresh Faces" contest!!










What does this mean? I'm looking for some "Fresh Faces" to photograph for my website and marketing materials! If your child is chosen you will win a complimentary photo session and a free 11x14 print from your session.

Who's eligible? If you have a child under 12 years of age and have not had a session with Loriann in the past year, you can enter! **Had a session in the past year?...keep reading for your offer below**

How do you enter? It's easy!! Just e-mail me an image (close up is best and non-professional a must) of your child. Be sure to put Fresh Faces in the subject line and to include the child’s name, date of birth, and a valid contact email of parent or legal guardian (grandparents, you must have permission from parents to enter your grandchild). No names will be publicly announced. Also, if someone referred you to the contest that is a current client, please include their name so I can give them the proper thank you. Images must be received by Saturday, February 21st.

How do you win? Images will be posted on the blog and voted on by the public. Voting will begin on Monday, February 23rd and run until Saturday, February 28th at midnight EST.

But wait...your kids don't qualify? That's ok. I still need you. Just pass this information on to all of your friends and if they are the winner you will win a $50 print/product credit for your next session.

The Fun Stuff a.k.a. The Fine Print:

By entering this contest you agree to sign a model release on behalf of your child. This release allows Loriann Horgan Photography to use the images from your session on our website, blog, or other marketing materials.

Winning session is non-transferable. One entry per child. If you have more than one child you may enter them individually as separate contestants. However, if entered separately, winning session will only be for child in winning image.

Entrants must be willing to have an on-location session within 30 miles of Boston.

Session must take place before May 31, 2009.

How can you not giggle when you see this little cutie!! Baby G is such a character and a gorgeous model too!! During our session she was so relaxed and up for anything!! I look forward to working with her and the rest of her family again soon!!

Blah, Blah, Blog!

Anyone who knows me knows how much I love to talk. Actually, now that I think about it, I'm not sure anyone is ever listening! Even my 19 month old ignores me most of the time!

Well, what better way to keep you updated with all the happenings at Loriann Horgan Photography than to start a blog! I hope you will enjoy (or are at least be amused by) the rants, raves, and images that Michelle and I will be posting. Come on, you can't say this picture didn't make you smile!
